This Privacy Policy explains how Bridal Discovery, a PBJ Media Solutions platform, handles information when you browse BridalDiscovery.com, create a bride account, build a Bridal Showcase, use AI-assisted features, save gowns, purchase Bridal Credits, or contact participating salons.

Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect information you provide directly, including your name, contact details, wedding information, bridal preferences, measurements, uploaded photos, hairstyle selections, saved gowns, salon enquiries, fitting-request details, support messages and account information.

We also process technical and operational information needed to provide and secure the service, such as session identifiers, device or browser information, request metadata, security logs, service activity, transaction references and limited diagnostic information.

Guest saves

You may save eligible gowns without creating an account. Guest saves use a secure opaque browser identifier and are designed to remain available on that browser for up to 30 days. If you later register or sign in, eligible guest saves may be merged into your account.

Bridal Showcase and private photos

Your Bridal Showcase may contain personal preferences, measurements and photos you upload or capture. These materials are used to provide the features you request, including personalized hairstyle mockups, body-reference preparation and Virtual Try-On. Private bride photos are not intended to be displayed publicly as salon portfolio content.

AI-assisted processing

When you request Virtual Try-On, hairstyle mockups or related image-processing features, the information and images required for that request may be transmitted to approved service providers that perform the requested processing. We limit the information sent to what is reasonably required to complete the feature and operate the service.

Salon enquiries

When you submit an availability enquiry or fitting request to a participating salon, the information you provide for that enquiry is shared with the relevant salon so it can respond. Participating salons are independent businesses and are responsible for how they handle information they receive outside Bridal Discovery.

Payments

Bridal Credit purchases are processed through our payment provider. Bridal Discovery may retain transaction identifiers, purchase status, credit balances and related accounting information, but payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored as ordinary Bridal Discovery account data.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure Bridal Discovery, provide requested features, maintain your account and saved content, create AI-assisted results, process Bridal Credit purchases, deliver service communications, route salon enquiries, respond to Contact Form submissions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, improve the user experience and meet legitimate legal or operational requirements.

Analytics and privacy choices

Bridal Discovery uses Matomo analytics to understand page visits and link activity so we can evaluate and improve the platform. Analytics is optional. We do not send analytics requests or initialize Matomo until you actively allow Analytics through our privacy controls.

If you allow Analytics, Matomo is served through our analytics service at analytics.pbjmedia.net using Bridal Discovery site identifier 7. You can reject Analytics when first asked or change your choice later using Privacy Preferences in the site footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics tracking and removes applicable Matomo cookies where present.

We store a necessary privacy-preference value in your browser so Bridal Discovery and its subdomains can remember whether Analytics is allowed. This preference is used to respect your privacy choice and is not itself used for advertising.

Retention

Retention depends on the type of information and the feature involved. Guest saves are designed to expire after 30 days. Incomplete Bridal Showcase onboarding drafts are designed for limited retention. Account, transaction, security, enquiry and operational records may be retained longer when needed to provide the service, protect users, maintain financial or audit records, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable requirements.

Service providers

We use service providers for functions such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing, AI/image processing and security or operational support. Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for the services they perform and are expected to handle it consistently with their contractual and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can choose whether to create an account, what information to add to your Bridal Showcase, which gowns to save, whether to use AI-assisted features, and whether to contact a salon. Account features may also allow you to replace or delete certain photos or generated results.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, including access controls, secure sessions, restricted private-media delivery, abuse controls and operational logging. No internet service can promise absolute security, so users should also protect their credentials and devices.

Children

Bridal Discovery is intended for adults planning or supporting a wedding and is not designed as a service for children. Do not submit a child's personal information through the service unless you are legally authorized and the feature clearly requires it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Bridal Discovery evolves. The effective date on this page identifies the current public version.
